Early preservation preserved

Part of my day job is dealing in books, which includes maps, ephemera and so on, so of course that includes some railway items. An unexpected find last year was an early drivers log book from the Severn Valley Railway, dated 1971.
Here’s a couple of pages for your perusal. The original, after viewing by several SVR old hands, who know many of the drivers mentioned, is now making its way to the SVR archives.

Thanks for reading. Check out my other posts on travel, heritage railways and more.
